Expendables 2 poster + plot

First details are being shown at Cannes for the sequel to last years smash hit, love it or hate it the film definitely returned us to that 80's feeling with a fantastic cast including Jet Li and Randy Couture.
Below is the official plot:

"The Expendables are back and this time it's personal! After Tool (Mickey Rourke), the heart and soul of the Expendables, is brutally murdered on a mission, his comrades swear to avenge him. They're not the only ones who want blood. Tool’s beautiful young and wild daughter Fiona embarks on her own revenge mission, complicating matters when she is captured and ransomed by a ruthless dictator plotting to destroy a resistance movement. Now Barney and the Expendables must risk everything to save her and humanity."

Chrono Trigger arrives on Virtual Console.

Chrono Trigger finally arrives on Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console in the US on Monday the 16th May, which should hopefully mean that Europe won't be far behind.
Regarded as one of the best RPG's of all time I for one can't wait to re-play this.
It will cost 800 Wii points on release.

New poster for Conan The Barbarian arrives.

Super excited for this one! If Jason Momoa's recent performance in 'Game of Thrones' is anything to go by this should be fantastic.

RIFT begins Ascend-a-Friend referral promotion

Beginning tomorrow with the advent of patch 1.2, RIFT subscribers will be able to Ascend-a-Friend into the ranks of the Defiant or Guardians, providing the newly Ascended with a seven-day free trial as well as linking the two players' accounts together.

This account link comes with benefits for both the Ascender and the Ascendee. The former will gain in-game rewards -- an adorable Corgi non-combat pet, a stylin' new hat, and a rather menacing flaming horse mount of doom -- for each recruited friend who decides to purchase RIFT. The latter will be granted an exclusive title, "The Chosen," and each player will be given the ability to teleport to the other's location once every 30 minutes.

The Dark Knight plot details leaked?

Following the images leaked earlier today from the India production of Christopher Nolan's third Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, comes a potential spoiler-filled description of what the shooting may entail. The Dark Knight Rises Community has the info which should only be considered a rumour as of yet.

"Eyewitnesses and crew members told us of a particular scene being filmed, where a bald-headed child wearing ragged clothes emerges from the well and pulls his hood over his head. From the conversations, we reckon this is a young Bane, emerging from a vat of Venom, trained by Pence's Ra's al Ghul. The years of addiction to Venom builds him to be a massive monster with amped up senses, intelligence and physical prowess."

Martin Sheen on Uncle Ben in the upcoming 'Amazing Spider-Man'

Martin Sheen talked to Hey U Guys about playing Uncle Ben in The Amazing Spider-Man. The following clip from the interview contains some spoilers about the character:

I’m not in any of the scenes where he’s Spider-man. He’s still a little boy. He’s a teenager when it starts. I’m a surrogate father really, I’m his uncle. And so all of our scenes are just like you and I talking now. I’m dealing with this adolescent who is having problems with changes, with hormones changing and his getting out of hand. I have to give him the marching orders and so forth. It’s all very normal. And the guy playing him is wonderful…
…He [Andrew Garfield] called me up and said he’d like to meet me and I said who are you and he said I’m playing your nephew. I said, you’re Spider-man! And we met for lunch and he was delightful. He just wanted to see who I was and whether I was open to changes, whether he could improvise with me. I was delighted and we had a wonderful time… I’ve never seen him in the uniform, I’ve never seen any of the stunts, any of the special effects, the green stuff. All my stuff is like normal acting and I don’t do anything with him otherwise. I’m dead in reel one y’know. I don’t do the end until I’m in New York. In April and May, that when I finish up with him. That’s where I get shot. There’s no special effects for me, that’s for the other characters.

New character for series 3 of Misfits

Following Robert Sheehan's exit from the show a new character has been cast for the show. Rudy is a new young man given community service, played by Joe Gilgun, of Emmerdale, Harry Brown and This Is England.

Channel 4 say's "New kid on the block Rudy gets a rude awakening in his first few days of community service, learning that with the keys to the infamous locker comes a great deal of running and screaming and, in some instances, bloodletting. But that really is the least of his worries. More pressing is just how to keep his secret superpower, well, secret. And is it super? As in from the A- List?"

The eight episode series is due to air later this year.
